Washington Nationals’ SP, Steven Strasburg, made a splash in his major league debut with a 14-strikeout game in 2010 against Pittsburgh.
In 2012, Strasburg will face two critical issues that will limit his fantasy value. First, he’s coming off Tommy John surgery. Secondly, the word out of Washington is that the Nationals are going to hold him to around 160 innings this year. No one doubts that Strasburg would put up great stats, especially in ERA, strikeouts and WHIP. Both of these things should make owners take a second thought at when to draft Strasburg.
