We are entering the final weeks of regular season games for most leagues. If your fantasy basketball team has missed the playoffs, you can still play an important role – the role of spoiler. There is nothing like knocking the guy you hate out of the playoffs when you have seemingly nothing to play for. But in fantasy sports, sometimes that is almost as good as winning it all.

Nothing can change the complexion of a team quite as fast as injury. Just when you thought your fantasy basketball team had the perfect rotation working, along comes an injury that throws a wrench into things. Yet, an injury can also be a blessing in disguise for the opportunistic. Picking up the right guy when a starter goes down can help you flourish. However, if owners rely too heavily on those substitutes, your team will have no depth. Balance is the key. With that, here are three players with rising value, and three players on the decline.
