LeBron James ends the year off on top of the Power Rankings.

The final week of the NBA basketball season is really about younger talent getting the opportunity to show what they can do, as well playoff teams fighting for position. That being said, this week has some of the old, but a lot of new faces.The final week of the power rankings may surprise you, but remember fantasy isn’t about names – it’s about points.

Here are this week’s Fantasy Basketball Power Rankings.

1. LeBron James, Small Forward, Miami Heat, Trending Steady
Last week’s best performer (in standard leagues), will probably end the season that way. Derrick Rose may be the NBA MVP, but there is no question who the fantasy MVP is. (more…)

Fantasy Basketball Power Rankings: Week 16

Kevin Durant has been a fantasy monster.

1)    Kevin Durant , Small Forward, Oklahoma City Thunder, Trending  Up

He has been on fire of late going off for 47, 40, 33 and 43 in his last four games.  Memphis, Sacramento and Golden State should lead to some more huge fantasy numbers in week 16.

2)    Kobe Bryant, Shooting Guard, Los Angeles Lakers, Trending Up

He has re-entered the discussion for MVP, Kobe has once again started to turn into the “Scoring Kobe”.  With a 37 point average over his last three games, we know nothing will stop him once he gets going.

3)    Blake Griffin, Power Forward, Los Angeles Clippers, Trending Up
