Favre still hasn't made up his mind.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Minnesota Vikings pulled out all the stops and began a “two-pronged” effort to keep Brett Favre from retiring earlier this month.

After Favre sent out texts to his teammates (although he claims he never did), the Vikings encouraged his teammates to voice their displeasure with his possible retirement, and the team even offered him more money to stay on.

Add that with a lack of a deadline/time table for a return, and it appears enough was done to appease Favre for the time being.

Then again, anything Favre-related is hearsay or speculation these days, so we’re filing under the “wait and see” approach. (more…)

Recent news and word from the horse’s mouth (Brett Favre) suggest the veteran quarterback is still undecided about his playing future. Minnesota head coach Brad Childress has recently claimed that he doesn’t have a clue about Favre’s future, and that he doesn’t even think that Favre does. (more…)
