It has been an interesting week in fantasy basketball this week with a number of key players going down with injuries. Dirk Nowitzki has been battling a knee injury, while Caron Butler will be out for the remainder of the season with a ruptured patellar tendon. Kevin Garnett, Danilo Gallinari, and Chuck Hayes also all went down with injuries and will miss extended time.

However, with every injury, there is an opportunity for another player to step up and generally that player is available on the fantasy waiver wire for you to add to your team. (more…)

Here’s a look at some of the headlines as we enter week 11 fantasy basketball. Injuries have been the story for most of the week if not most of the season. Some guys are going down due to injury and others are making the most of the increased opportunity. Let’s take a look at what’s going on around the NBA.

Danilo Gallinari – F – New York Knicks

Danilo Gallinari received an MRI that revealed a mild sprain of his knee and his recovery is reportedly going to take two to three weeks. (more…)
