2012 Fantasy Basketball: The Top 5 Fantasy Centers

Now that Shaq is in the TV studio, Dwight Howard is the only "Superman" in the NBA.

Big men in the NBA are a dying breed. As a result, power forwards and centers just do not have the same fantasy value as they once did. Of course, Kevin Love and Dwight Howard are the exceptions. According to the scoring system used by Fantazzle Fantasy Basketball games, Love is averaging 44.1 total fantasy points per game. Ironically enough, Howard is also putting up 44.1 total fantasy points per game.

On that coincidental note, let’s unveil the top five fantasy centers of 2012.

Fantasy Basketall Risers and Fallers: Week 18

Sam Young is making a name for himself and is a must add to any fantasy basketball team.

We are officially in the second half of the season, or what I like to call the championship half. Depending on your league’s playoff schedule, you have five to seven weeks left to prove how great your fantasy basketball team is. Those weeks will move very quickly and with the trade deadline looming, you as a fantasy owner need to make moves now to ensure your future in the playoffs. Let’s look at the players that may or may not help you get there, with this week’s Risers and Fallers list.
