2012 Fantasy Baseball | The Start of a New Season

Tuesday, July 10th, 2012
2012 Fantasy Baseball | The Start of a New SeasonFriday the 13th marks the start of a new fantasy baseball season at Fantazzle Fantasy Sports, with Mid-Season Fantasy Baseball Salary Cap games scheduled to start at 7:05PM ET. The Fantazzle exclusive Mid-Season Fantasy Baseball Game combines elements of both weekly fantasy baseball and season-long fantasy baseball contests. First off, users can choose a new lineup every week! This will surely help limit the “injury-factor” that can make or break your team in season-long games. More often than not it seems to do the latter. In addition to minimizing the effect of injuries, mid-season fantasy baseball allows for class and skill to prevail. After all, form is temporary, class is permanent. Now then, each user will be required to select 1 catcher, 1 first basemen, 1 second basemen, 1 third basemen, 1 shortstop and 3 outfielders to complete their 2012 fantasy baseball roster, while simultaneously staying under the fantasy salary cap of $1,000,000. Lastly, Fantazzle is offering three different buy-ins ($5.50, $55 and $110) for its mid-season fantasy baseball game. Fantasy Baseball Games Fantazzle offers free and pay-to-play fantasy baseball games, including salary cap fantasy baseball, limited lineup and pick’em formats, every day of the week! At the moment, the premier fantasy sports site is offering a $250 cash bonus for any player who picks a perfect fantasy baseball team in their one-of-a-kind Fantasy Baseball Pick’em Game courtesy of the Perfect Pick’em Promo. Other Fantasy Games Fantasy golf and fantasy racing games are currently available on a weekly basis at Fantazzle. Fantasy golf games are available every week there is a PGA Tour event, while fantasy racing contests are on hand for every NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

Lee Westwood

Can World #3 Lee Westwood get it done at The Players Championship this week?

Ever since Rickie Fowler turned pro, the golf world has been fixiated on one question; “When will he win?”.  Fans disregarded the fact that he’s only 23, and became more impatient for a victory with each tournament that passed.  Although the pressure to win a PGA Tour event so quickly was a bit unfair, Fowler gave his fans what they craved with an exciting playoff win over Rory McIlroy and D.A. Points at last week’s Wells Fargo Championship.  The Orange One  flagged a wedge on the first playoff hole and rolled in the remaining 5-footer for the win.  Now that the first win is out of the way, only time will tell how great Fowler will be.  My guess, he’ll be a major champion soon. Rory McIlroy

Can Rory McIlroy win again in North Carolina?

Finally!  The monkey is off the back for Jason Dufner as he captured his first career PGA Tour win last week in a playoff over Ernie Els at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.  It took two extra holes, but Dufner finally got the win that has eluded him these last two years.  Although Els came up short, his runner-up finish did move him up to 40th in the world golf rankings, moving him closer to locking up a spot in this years U.S. Open.  As the Tour leaves the bayou, we head East to the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship, where Lucas Glover will look to defend his 2011 title.  (more…)

Bubba Watson

Can Bubba ride the momentum of his win in Augusta to a defense of his 2011 title down in New Orleans?

Last week, Ben Curtis won the Valero Texas Open by two shots over Matt Every and John Huh, capturing his first PGA Tour win since 2006.  Curtis opened with rounds of 67-67, which gave him just the cushion he needed to hold off a weekend surge by Huh.  Now the tour heads down to the “Big Easy” for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans where 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson will see if he can defend his 2011 title.  (more…)
