Randy Moss signed a one-year deal with the 49ers Monday.
While everyone has been focused on the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, there have been other roster moves that have 2012 fantasy football impacts.
San Francisco signed WR Randy Moss took a one-year deal Monday. Moss is back and probably joined one of the worst possible teams from a fantasy football perspective. We know he can get downfield for the deep ball, but there are concerns with the arm strength of QB Alex Smith. Smith is not known for throwing the deep ball effectively. Most of his bigger passing plays relied on his receivers getting yards after the catch.

The Controversial BCS Is Back To Wreak Havoc!
The 2011 NCAA Football regular season is just about in the rearview for the year and now seems as good a time as any to immerse yourself into the NCAA’s second season…bowl season. If it feels to you as though each year around this time you have to get reacclimatized to an entirely new set of bowl games and names alike, that feeling would be dead on. I personally feel like I’ve got a real strong grasp on this process and every single year they keep me guessing. This particular bowl season is shaping up to be real entertaining since many of these squads can match each other in the talent department. In the interest of time and also everyones collective sanity, lets pick out five of the most intriguing games and dig deeper to find why we should even care to check in at all.

Carder is your top sleeper for QBs in week 13
Alex Carder – Carder is coming off of a 35 fantasy point game against Miami (OH) where he threw for 420+ yards and 3 TDs. This week Carder gets Akron, who doesn’t give up a lot of yards through the air, but gives up 8.2 yards per yards (104th) and is 101st in passer efficiency allowed.
