Friday, March 11th, 2011The King is alive and well. This week sees the return of the King and a couple of new kids on the block to the Power Rankings list. You know sometimes the worst NBA teams; sure can make up the best fantasy basketball teams.
Fantasy Basketball Power Rankings:
1. Lebron James, Small Forward, Miami Heat, Trending Up
The Heat may not be the best team in the NBA, Lebron may not be able to make the game winning shots, but in fantasy he is royalty. We can all pretty much say with certainty that the Heat are having a bad time of late, but even with their struggles the King has averaged 26.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists in his last five games. Fantasy Basketball Power Rankings: Week 16

1) Kevin Durant , Small Forward, Oklahoma City Thunder, Trending Up
He has been on fire of late going off for 47, 40, 33 and 43 in his last four games. Memphis, Sacramento and Golden State should lead to some more huge fantasy numbers in week 16.
2) Kobe Bryant, Shooting Guard, Los Angeles Lakers, Trending Up
He has re-entered the discussion for MVP, Kobe has once again started to turn into the “Scoring Kobe”. With a 37 point average over his last three games, we know nothing will stop him once he gets going.
3) Blake Griffin, Power Forward, Los Angeles Clippers, Trending Up

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011As we head into the All-Star break injuries begin to pile up and young players are starting to emerge. Their coaches are giving them extra run to see what they can do. Some players are proving they can play and other players are proving they can’t. Over the last two weeks some players have really stepped up like Francisco Garcia and DeMar DeRozan. We’ll try to catch you up on all of the news this week.
DeMar DeRozan – SG,SF – Toronto Raptors
DeRozan has been given a starting spot this year and he is just now starting to earn it. Over the last two weeks he has averaged over 15 ppg including a multitude of 20 point efforts. He lacks in many other areas, but his scoring is enough (more…)
