Blake Griffin has been everything people imagined he would be this season.

Stat Rundown: 20.8 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 51% FG

Though the Clippers have vastly underperformed, Blake Griffin has not. Coming off surgery that repaired his shattered kneecap, one would have expected him to be slow coming out of the gate in his first NBA season. Yet, Griffin has responded wonderfully, looking as dominant as he did at Oklahoma during the 2008-2009 NCAA season. A human highlight reel, Griffin has been one of the most exciting players in the NBA, embarrassing seven footers from Los Angeles to Moscow (see Timothy Mosgov). Despite shooting poorly from the line, Griffin has provided a sense of electricity that the Clippers have lacked in past years. Not only is he the definitive rookie of the year at this point, Griffin is the great white hope for the two Clipper’s fans that don’t know the Lakers exist.
